Growing up I had absolutely no interest in what my Great grandmother, Grandmother and mum made. I was always the recipient and loved what they made but had absolutely no desire to be inside with them! I was out with my Grandfather and Uncle doing the outside chores that farm life entailed. I remained that way until the birth of my daughter in 2011. I started knitting then and it has just evolved from there. My passion really started when I bought a sewing machine after the birth of our son in 2010. I wanted to make some burp cloths and was looking online for fabrics and that was the end of it! Amy Butler was the instigator in all this with her SUPER COOL modern fabrics. From there I started quilting and the rest is history. I truly love making one of a kind pieces. I never thought that this is where I would end up. Being the crazy lady I used to speak about that took perfectly good large pieces of fabric, cut them up into to small pieces and sew back together! I hope you enjoy what I make as I surely do!
